Trust is a matter of both character and competence
We're Not Just Good At What We Do...
We're Good People Too!
You dream it - we built it
Let’s face it: renovating your Gold Coast home is a big deal. It’s expensive; it takes a while to complete; strangers will be in your home constantly, and you have to live with the results for a really long time.
In other words, There's a lot at stake, and very little margin for error.
That’s why we’ve worked hard to create an iconic renovation company that is both pleasant to work with AND technically competent to do the job right the first me. Sure, we only hire the best tradesman; but we also make sure they’re just plain-old good people. People you’ll feel safe & comfortable around.
People you’ll come to know and like. People you’d be proud to call friends. That’s just how we do business.
A successful renovation project is one that improves your family’s enjoyment of your home long after the project is completed, and the process starts with the design.
You will have to weed through a handful of builders and based on your gut feeling choose one who fits your needs best. To help you make the selection easier, download the free consumer guide right now.
You get what you pay for
I’ve noticed over the years that some consumers will choose less than reputable contractors to do a reno job for them, usually because they quoted less money. Don’t get me wrong. I’m all for good honest competiton, but it pains me to see hard working families risk their hard earned money with contractors who have a bad (but hidden) track record. Small one-man bands may be cheaper, but they come with frustrations like being unreliable, poor craftsmanship and inaccurate guestimated quotes.

We’re a building company that takes the time
and effort to do your renovation the right way"
Unfortunately, we’ve all heard the horror stories about renovations gone bad. Unfinished projects, shoddy work, unscrupulous contractors, final bills nowhere near the initial quote, and more.
We’re glad that you are a discerning customer. We want to raise the standards of the industry.
It’s true
Many renovation contractors use a term called “Rip & Stick”.
That means that they rip out the old, and stick in the new as quickly and cheaply as possible and say “she’ll be right mate!” This is a monumental problem in our industry and the cause of so many complaints. Some of the unscrupulous operators might be handyman, tilers or even unlicensed blokes who have no idea or experience in operating a business and managing a professional renovation project. It can be easy to get roped in by a low-ball questimate and claims of doing the same work for less, but it’s never a good idea to hire anyone based on price without doing some research.
I couldn’t believe that homeowners would spend tens of thousands of dollars with guys that, quite frankly, were not qualified to mow their lawn.
We honestly feel (as do the clients we do work for) that if you are going to spend your hard-earned money on a reno project, you should choose a company who can provide not just the construction aspect, but the entire package: design, coordination, management, construction, completion, follow-up, and service—not to mention the peace of mind that you’re getting all this without the inherent risk you’d be taking on by “gambling” with a dodgy contractor.
But honestly... this about us page is not about “us”. It’s about you, the person looking to renovate your home. We’re all about helping our customers, and it’s something we take very seriously. Renew has invested heavily in our Project Management and IT systems. This technology means your renovation will run smoother and faster, as everyone in the team has access to up-to-date information about where the build is at.
The goal for this website, and the free consumer awareness guide, is to provide the information you need to make the most informed decision possible. It’s my believe that an informed decision will lead to long term satisfaction... and that’s the best result for everyone.
